transforming the RISD Museum lobby into an immersive experience that centers on emotions and storytelling, highlighting one selected artwork at a time with rotations every few months to foster fresh perspectives. A continuous curved line flows from the interior to the exterior, blurring the boundary between both, while its materiality evolves from solid concrete to textured metal, mirror, LED glass, and finally transparent glass, symbolizing the emotional journey of each artwork from grounding and reflection to transformation and openness. Along this path, visitors encounter an artwork information screen, an installation inspired by the featured piece, a reflection area for quiet contemplation, and a storytelling zone surrounded by LED glass projecting shared sketches and personal stories, transforming the lobby into a living gallery where individual emotions converge into collective narratives.
